Sharmili

Shri Subrata Sarkar
& Shrimati Anamika Sarkar
&
Abhinav
son of
Shri Rajendra Goyal
& Shrimati Shashi Goyal
In a world of time zones, video calls, and questionable Wi-Fi connections, one man decided to take a chance.
Meet Abhinav: living in the winter wonderland, armed with optimism, persistence, and an international calling plan.
Meet Sharmili: smart, witty, impossible to impress, and fully prepared with follow-up questions.
What follows? Months of long-distance conversations. A highly competitive overthinking championship. A few plot twists. Some memorable trips. A handful of disagreements. Countless laughs. And a growing realization that this might actually be something special.
Just when they thought they'd finally run out of things to talk about, the leading man made his move.
This winter, from the creators of “Are We Really Doing This?” and “Wait, What Did You Mean By That Text?” comes a story about two people who found each other across continents, survived distance, and somehow made it all work.
The Man from the City of Love proposed to the Bae of Bengal.
She said YES.

These colours are only a gentle suggestion, never a rule. Wear whatever makes you feel at ease, happy and comfortable. The only thing we’d love you to bring is you. ♡
North Indian festive wear or Indo-western looks. Have fun with colour and movement.
Pastel colours, sunshine shades and easy-to-move-in outfits are perfect for the daytime celebration.
Traditional Indian wedding attire. Agra evenings can be cold in December, so consider a warm layer for travel and outdoor moments.
For guests coming from outside Agra, please get in touch with us regarding accommodation.
Airports: For those flying to Agra, Agra Airport is an option, although connectivity is limited. The closest major airports are Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi at about 4 hours drive and Noida International Airport at about 2.5 hours drive.

Taxis: There are Uber/Ola and other car services available for local transport.

The dress code for our wedding is traditional Indian. For Sangeet night, you can go for North Indian attire or Indo-Western. For Haldi the next morning, you can choose pastel colours. And for the wedding night, you can go for Indian traditional.
P.S. The real dress code? Wear whatever makes you smile. If you’re happy and comfortable, you’re perfectly dressed for our celebration. ♡
Yes! You're welcome to celebrate with us both in person and online. Feel free to share photos and videos, and don't forget to tag us.
Given the time of year, Winters in Agra are usually expected with warm afternoons, but cold mornings and evenings, so please consider this as you plan your wardrobe.
Agra is a city offering a discovery of the beautiful era. The city has a rich history, reflected in its numerous monuments dotted in and around the city.
The Grand Imperial is located amidst the heart of the city giving you the realistic picture of the city and is also reasonably close to all the main tourist attractions.
We put a lot of thought into choosing our wedding destination. (Just kidding, the groom is born and raised in Agra)
If you have time, we highly encourage you to explore the area so you can fall in love with it as we did.
